Prawn Cocktail

  • 10 cooked prawns, chilled
  • ½ cup (125 ml) cold Crosse & Blackwell Creamy Mayonnaise
  • 2 tsp (10 ml) fresh lemon juice
  • 5 tsp (20 ml) tomato sauce
  • salt and black pepper, to taste

  • 1 Tbsp (15 ml) finely sliced chives, to garnish

Preparation method

1. Peel the prawns and set aside.
2. Line two glass bowls with fresh lettuce leaves and arrange the prawns on top.
3. To make sauce, put the Crosse & Blackwell Creamy Mayonnaise into a small bowl and whisk in the lemon juice and tomato sauce. Season to taste with salt and black pepper.
4. Drizzle the pink sauce over the prawns and scatter over the snipped chives. Serve chilled.
