Creamed Mayonnaise Spinach with Bacon Bits

  • 200g spinach, shredded
  • 120g bacon, chopped small and fried
  • ¾ cup Crosse & Blackwell Tangy Mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation method

1. Fry the spinach until soft, then drain of any excess water. Place the spinach into a bowl with the bacon bits and the Crosse & Blackwell Tangy Mayonnaise. Mix through until completely combined.
2. Transfer to a small sauce pan and gently heat before serving. Season to taste with salt and pepper.

Serving Suggestion

Bake the creamed spinach mixture in the oven with cheese on for something different.
